Privacy Policy

This page explains how RF Boneyard handles buyer, quote, support, and repair-request information.

Information collected

RF Boneyard may collect your name, email, phone number, call sign, shipping details, quote request details, product interests, support ticket messages, repair request details, radio model, serial number if provided, and account activity.

How information is used

  • To respond to quote requests and buyer messages.
  • To manage accounts, call sign profiles, and order/quote history.
  • To review support tickets and electronics repair or service requests.
  • To prevent spam, abuse, fraud, or unsafe activity.
  • To improve the site and manage RF Boneyard operations.

Payments and PayPal

RF Boneyard™ uses PayPal as an independent third-party payment gateway. When you choose PayPal, payment processing takes place through PayPal's systems. PayPal controls its own account authentication, payment security, encryption, fraud-prevention systems, privacy practices, legal terms, and any buyer or seller protection programs it offers.

RF Boneyard™ and Hijuelos Sound Works LLC do not operate or control customer PayPal accounts. RF Boneyard does not ask you for your PayPal password or PayPal login credentials, and the current RF Boneyard PayPal checkout flow does not receive your PayPal password or full payment-card number. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, bank-account credentials, or other sensitive PayPal account information through RF Boneyard support tickets, quote messages, repair requests, or email.

RF Boneyard may receive or retain the customer, order, shipping, transaction-reference, payer/contact, or payment-status information that you provide to RF Boneyard or that PayPal makes available to a merchant as needed to identify, document, support, reconcile, and fulfill an RF Boneyard order. RF Boneyard handles information it receives under this Privacy Policy.

Your PayPal account and your relationship with PayPal are separate from your relationship with RF Boneyard. Questions concerning PayPal login or account access, linked payment methods, account limitations, PayPal security, PayPal privacy practices, PayPal-specific dispute procedures, or PayPal buyer/seller protection programs should be directed to PayPal. RF Boneyard cannot access, unlock, restore, or change a customer's PayPal account.

RF Boneyard does not control PayPal's availability, account decisions, security systems, encryption systems, privacy practices, legal terms, or protection-program decisions. This separation does not reduce RF Boneyard's responsibility for its own merchandise, order handling, fulfillment, customer support, or its handling of information received by RF Boneyard. Questions about an RF Boneyard item, shipment, return, or order should continue to be directed to RF Boneyard.

Call signs

Call signs are optional and are used to identify ham-radio customers and organize support or repair requests.

Data retention

RF Boneyard may keep quote, support, repair, and order records for business, safety, fraud-prevention, and customer-service reasons. Admin tools may delete or anonymize users and requests when appropriate.
