1. Quote-first parts marketplace
RFBONEYARD.com focuses on hard-to-find RF parts, ham radio salvage, tubes, MOSFETs, relays, boards, connectors, attenuators, regulators, capacitors, test-bench accessories, and other rare bench finds. Some items may be limited-stock, vintage, discontinued, pulled from donor equipment, new old stock, used, or quote-only.
Submitting a quote request, cart request, support ticket, or repair request does not guarantee availability, final price, shipping cost, delivery time, repair acceptance, or acceptance of an order. Final details are confirmed manually.
2. Salvaged, rare, and donor-pulled parts
Many parts sold through RF Boneyard are salvaged, donor-pulled, vintage, obsolete, or hard-to-find electronic components. RF Boneyard makes a good-faith effort to pull parts from working donor units when possible, inspect parts, and test parts before sale when practical.
Because salvaged and obsolete parts can be swapped, counterfeited, relabeled, aged, heat-stressed, previously repaired, or affected by unknown past use, RF Boneyard cannot guarantee that every salvaged or vintage part is original, factory-new, or suitable for every application. Buyer must review the listing, quote notes, photos, test notes, and part numbers carefully before purchase.
3. No refunds / all sales final on parts
All parts sales are final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges are offered on parts unless RF Boneyard agrees in writing before purchase.
This policy exists because electronic parts can be installed incorrectly, damaged by static, overheated, substituted, swapped, overdriven, or changed after delivery. By purchasing parts, you agree that parts are sold for repair, restoration, experimentation, and technical use at your own risk.
4. Testing before sale
RF Boneyard attempts to test parts before they are sold when reasonable and possible. Test notes may include basic checks, donor condition, visual inspection, meter readings, transistor checks, relay checks, or other bench observations. These tests are informational only and are not a manufacturer warranty, calibration certificate, or guarantee that a part will work in every circuit or under every load condition.
5. Buyer responsibility
You are responsible for confirming that any part is correct for your equipment, voltage/current/RF requirements, package style, pinout, heat sinking, grounding, biasing, alignment, and service procedure. You are responsible for safe installation, proper tools, ESD handling, qualified repair practices, and following the manufacturer service manual.
RF Boneyard is not responsible for incorrect diagnosis, incorrect part selection, improper installation, alignment errors, shipping choices, technician labor, bench time, calibration costs, downtime, lost use, damage to radios, amplifiers, test equipment, antennas, power supplies, or any other direct or indirect costs related to using a part, support reply, or repair advice.
6. Radio repair and support requests
Support tickets and radio repair requests are for intake, discussion, troubleshooting direction, and possible service evaluation. A request does not create a guaranteed repair agreement. Do not ship equipment until RF Boneyard accepts the job and provides written intake instructions, service scope, shipping instructions, and estimated costs.
RF Boneyard may refuse a repair, decline a job, request more information, or close a request if the project is outside the current service scope, unsafe, incomplete, abusive, or not practical to support.
7. Technical advice and safety
RF, high-voltage, power-supply, tube, amplifier, and transmitter repair work can be dangerous and can damage equipment if performed incorrectly. Any advice provided by RF Boneyard is general educational guidance and should not replace a qualified technician, official service documentation, or proper test equipment.
By using RF Boneyard support, parts, repair advice, or quote information, you agree that you are responsible for your own repair decisions and safety. RF Boneyard is not responsible for injury, equipment damage, repair costs, alignment costs, labor costs, lost revenue, or other damages caused by using any part, suggestion, support reply, or advice.
8. Payments, PayPal invoices, and shipping
Payments may be handled through PayPal checkout, manual PayPal invoice, or another method agreed in writing. Shipping charges, insurance, handling, and delivery timelines are confirmed before final payment where needed. RF Boneyard is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, customs delays, or buyer-provided incorrect addresses once an item is shipped, except where required by law.
9. Accounts, abuse, and site controls
RF Boneyard may block accounts, delete spam, remove abusive requests, reject suspicious orders, refuse service, anonymize abandoned accounts, and remove content where needed to protect the site, buyers, sellers, equipment, and community.
10. Agreement
By creating an account, submitting a quote request, opening a support ticket, submitting a radio repair request, or making payment, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
