Return Policy

RF Boneyard™ sells hard-to-find RF, ham radio, CB radio, vintage communications, salvage, donor-board, NOS, surplus, and obsolete electronic repair parts. Because many items are vintage, discontinued, pulled from donor equipment, or sold for repair/restoration use, please read this policy before ordering.

Buyer is responsible for verifying part number, board number, package style, polarity, pinout, ratings, and compatibility before purchase and installation.

Bench-Tested Parts

Items listed as bench-tested, tested pull, or RF Boneyard™ bench verified are tested using the methods described in the product listing. Returns may be accepted if the item arrives not as described, the wrong item was shipped, or the item is dead on arrival before installation.

Vintage, Salvage, Donor, NOS, and Obsolete Parts

Vintage and salvage parts are sold as repair/restoration parts. Cosmetic age, old markings, solder residue, lead trimming, storage wear, and donor-board removal evidence may be present unless the listing states otherwise. These conditions are normal for many older electronic parts.

Installed, Soldered, or Modified Parts

Returns are generally not accepted after a part has been soldered, installed, modified, overheated, cut, altered, or used in a circuit. Many RF and semiconductor parts can be damaged instantly by incorrect bias, wrong polarity, overdrive, static, bad matching, or circuit faults.

Wrong Part Ordered / Compatibility Mistakes

Returns are generally not accepted for buyer compatibility mistakes, wrong board version, wrong package style, wrong pinout, wrong polarity, or ordering the wrong part number. Please compare photos, markings, board numbers, and listing details carefully before purchase.

Damaged in Shipping or Wrong Item Shipped

If an item arrives damaged or the wrong item was shipped, contact RF Boneyard™ promptly with your order number, photos of the packaging, and photos of the item received. We will review the issue and work toward a fair correction.

Return Window

Any return request must be made within 7 days of delivery unless a different period is stated in the product listing or order communication.

Refunds

Approved refunds are normally issued back to the original payment method after the item is received and inspected. Shipping charges may be non-refundable unless RF Boneyard™ shipped the wrong item or the item was materially not as described.
