Community Guidelines
These rules apply to Bench Talk, member profiles, Member Directory participation, private member messaging, and related RF Boneyard community features.
Access levels
Free account: digital Bench Pass, account/profile and buyer tools, and the official RF Boneyard Admin private-service channel. Free accounts do not browse the Member Directory or use ordinary member-to-member messaging or paid Bench Talk posting privileges.
Active RF Bench Pass / Lifetime: eligible paid community access including public-profile directory browsing, Bench Talk posting, and member-to-member messaging when the recipient accepts messages.
Respect the bench
No spam, scams, flooding, harassment, threats, abusive posting, impersonation, repeated self-promotion, unsolicited commercial solicitation, malicious links, deliberate disruption, or publication of another person's private information.
Keep community activity reasonably related to electronics, parts, repair, restoration, tools, test equipment, vintage gear, RF, audio, arcade/retro electronics, and related RF Boneyard interests.
Private messages
Member-to-member conversations are intended for their participants. Members can turn ordinary incoming member messages on or off and can block another member.
Official RF Boneyard Admin service messages may still be delivered to registered accounts regardless of the ordinary member-message preference, and members can reply to Admin.
Reports & moderation
Use Report for spam, scams, fraud, harassment, threats, abuse, malicious links, impersonation, or other rule violations. RF Boneyard Admin does not have a casual inbox for ordinary unreported member-to-member conversations.
If a private message is reported, the reported message and relevant conversation context may be reviewed to investigate the report. Posting and private-member-messaging privileges may be suspended separately.
Message removal & records
Where available, a sender may remove only a message they personally sent. The normal participant view will show that the message was removed. The underlying record may be retained where reasonably necessary for moderation, reports, fraud/security review, dispute handling, recordkeeping, or legal obligations.
Profiles and directory privacy
Only profiles a member chooses to make public are eligible to appear to accounts that have Member Directory access. Profile visibility and the ordinary private-message preference are separate controls.
Enforcement
RF Boneyard may hide or remove community content, resolve reports, restrict features, or suspend Bench Talk posting and/or private member messaging when privileges are abused. A communication suspension does not automatically delete the underlying account, membership record, orders, or support history.
