Wesco 432P1R 0.0068uF 1200V 5% Film Capacitor Vintage NOS Bench Checked
Full Description & History
Vintage Wesco 432P1R 0.0068uF 1200V 5% film capacitor intended for high-voltage electronic circuits, vintage equipment restoration, audio equipment, radio repair, amplifier service, coupling, filtering, and general restoration work.
This capacitor is especially useful for older analog equipment where high-voltage film capacitors were used in signal coupling, filtering, timing, amplifier stages, tube equipment, test equipment, and other discrete-component circuits.
This capacitor was bench checked by RF Boneyard and measured 6.9 nF against a nominal value of 6.8 nF. The measured value is approximately 1.5% above nominal and remains comfortably within the marked 5% tolerance.
LIFECYCLE: OBSOLETE
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: Wesco manufactured film capacitors for commercial, industrial, audio, radio, and general electronic equipment during earlier generations of through-hole electronics. High-voltage film capacitors such as this 1200V example are now most commonly encountered as vintage service stock, surplus inventory, or new-old-stock repair components.
Legacy or discontinued stock no longer in normal production flow. Future supply may be limited.
Pipeline quantities are informational and may change after arrival, inspection, sorting, testing, or donor teardown.
