Stackpole RMCF2512ZT0R00 0 ohm Jumper 1W 2512 SMD Thick Film Resistor 69 PCS
Full Description & History
Stackpole Electronics RMCF2512ZT0R00 zero-ohm surface-mount jumper resistor in the large 2512 package, rated for approximately 1 W. This device functions as a low-resistance PCB interconnect while remaining compatible with automated surface-mount placement and reflow assembly.
Unlike the much smaller 0402 and 0603 jumper resistors, the 2512 package provides a physically larger current path and substantially greater power-handling capability. It is useful in power distribution, board configuration, high-current routing, power-supply sections, industrial control electronics, and other circuits where a compact wire-link substitute is required.
Original Digi-Key packaging identifies Stackpole Electronics, 0.0 ohm jumper, 1 W rating, 2512 SMD package, country of origin Japan.
Lifecycle: ACTIVE.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: Stackpole Electronics is a long-established manufacturer of resistive components serving industrial, automotive, power, communications, consumer, and electronic-manufacturing markets. Its product families include thick-film and thin-film chip resistors, current-sense resistors, high-power resistors, precision devices, fusible resistors, and specialty surface-mount parts.
Zero-ohm resistors became common as printed circuit board production shifted toward automated assembly. Electrically, they perform essentially the same function as a short jumper wire, but their standardized resistor package allows the same pick-and-place equipment used for ordinary resistors to install circuit links automatically.
Designers use zero-ohm jumpers for PCB routing, option selection, product configuration, test isolation, current-path bridging, revision control, and manufacturing flexibility. A jumper may be installed or omitted depending on the specific version of a board.
The 2512 package is considerably larger than common 0402, 0603, and 0805 chip-resistor packages. Its increased area allows higher power handling and makes it appropriate for circuits carrying substantially more current than miniature signal-level jumpers.
Stackpole’s RMCF family is based on thick-film chip-resistor construction and includes standard resistance values as well as zero-ohm jumper versions for automated PCB production and repair.
Unused new old stock from legacy inventory. Packaging, age, and cosmetic condition may vary.

Suitable for circuits requiring a zero-ohm jumper resistor in the 2512 SMD package with approximately 1 W power capability. Typical applications include PCB power routing, power-supply boards, industrial controls, automotive electronics, communications equipment, high-current circuit links, configuration jumpers, test links, and general surface-mount PCB repair. Verify package dimensions, current requirements, and circuit design before substitution.
