Samsung Electro-Mechanics CL05B105KQ5NQNC 1uF 6.3V X7R 10% 0402 Ceramic Capacitor 70 PCS
Full Description & History
Samsung Electro-Mechanics CL05B105KQ5NQNC multilayer ceramic chip capacitor rated 1 uF, 6.3 VDC, ±10% tolerance, with X7R dielectric in the compact 0402 / 1005 metric surface-mount package.
This miniature MLCC is well suited to bypassing, decoupling, local power-rail filtering, regulator support, digital electronics, embedded systems, communications equipment, and other high-density PCB applications.
The X7R dielectric provides useful capacitance stability over a broad operating temperature range while allowing substantially greater capacitance density than Class I C0G / NP0 ceramics.
Original Digi-Key packaging identifies Samsung Electro-Mechanics CL05B105KQ5NQNC, 1 uF, 6.3 VDC, ±10%, X7R, 0402 package, country of origin Philippines.
Lifecycle: ACTIVE.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: Samsung Electro-Mechanics was established in South Korea in 1973 and developed into one of the world’s major manufacturers of electronic components and modules. Its product lines grew to include multilayer ceramic capacitors, inductors, RF components, printed circuit technologies, camera modules, and other high-density electronic components used in communications, computing, consumer, industrial, and automotive equipment.
Multilayer ceramic capacitor technology became essential as electronic products moved toward smaller circuit boards and increasingly dense surface-mount construction. By stacking numerous ceramic dielectric and electrode layers inside a single body, an MLCC can provide relatively high capacitance while occupying only a tiny PCB footprint.
The 0402 / 1005 metric package measures approximately 1.0 x 0.5 mm and became widely adopted in compact electronics. Achieving 1 uF in this package represents the high capacitance density made possible by modern multilayer ceramic manufacturing.
The CL series is one of Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ major general-purpose MLCC families. Parts such as the CL05B105KQ5NQNC are commonly used close to integrated circuits for local decoupling, where they help supply short bursts of current and suppress high-frequency power-rail noise.
X7R is a Class II dielectric rated for operation from approximately -55°C to +125°C, making it appropriate for a broad range of commercial, industrial, and electronic-control applications.
Unused new old stock from legacy inventory. Packaging, age, and cosmetic condition may vary.
Pipeline quantities are informational and may change after arrival, inspection, sorting, testing, or donor teardown.
