Electron DC2-334D 0.33uF 200VDC 5% Vintage Capacitor
Full Description & History
Vintage Electron DC2-334D axial capacitor marked .33 MFD ±5% and 200VDC. Features older metal-case axial construction with wire leads. Nominal capacitance is 0.33uF / 330nF. Bench tested with a DE-5000 LCR meter at 334.5nF and PASSED the marked ±5% capacitance tolerance. Suitable for vintage stereo equipment, audio amplifiers, linear amplifiers, radios, communications equipment, test equipment, and restoration projects where the electrical specifications match.Vintage Electron metal-case capacitor ideal for vintage audio restoration, classic stereo equipment, guitar and musical instrument amplifiers, tube amplifier projects, radios, and period electronics where the capacitance and voltage requirements match. Vintage and NOS capacitors of this construction are sought by some restorers and amplifier builders for period-correct repairs and traditional component character. This capacitor has been bench tested with a DE-5000 LCR meter and PASSED its marked capacitance tolerance.
Lifecycle: OBSOLETE.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: Older metal-cased capacitors such as this Electron component represent an earlier generation of discrete electronic components used in radio, audio, communications, amplifier, industrial, and test equipment. The .33 MFD marking reflects older capacitance-marking conventions. Components of this construction can be useful for vintage equipment restoration and period-style repair where an appropriate 0.33uF capacitor is required.
Unused new old stock from legacy inventory. Packaging, age, and cosmetic condition may vary.
Pipeline quantities are informational and may change after arrival, inspection, sorting, testing, or donor teardown.
