ITT 7402N Quad 2-Input NOR Gate TTL Logic IC DIP-14 Arcade Repair NOS 1 PCS
Full Description & History
1 PCS original ITT 7402N TTL logic integrated circuit in a 14-pin DIP package. Device is marked ITT, 7402 N, with production marking 7625.
The 7402N contains four independent 2-input NOR gates. This classic 7400-series TTL device was used for digital control, gating, timing, signal processing, video circuitry, decoding, and other logic functions in arcade machines, computers, industrial equipment, test equipment, and early digital electronics.
This listing is for one individual device. Two NOS devices are currently available.
LIFECYCLE: OBSOLETE. The original ITT-manufactured 7402N is a discontinued legacy semiconductor. The 7402 logic function remains available in other semiconductor families, but original vintage ITT 7402N devices are no longer current-production ITT components.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
The 7402 belongs to the original 7400-series TTL logic family that became a foundation of digital electronics during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. It contains four independent two-input NOR gates in a single 14-pin package.
NOR gates are fundamental digital building blocks because combinations of NOR gates can be used to construct many other logic functions. Devices such as the 7402 were therefore widely used for control logic, timing, state circuits, video generation, signal routing, and supporting logic in early digital equipment.
The 7402 function has documented use in classic arcade electronics. Arcade hardware from the discrete-logic and early microprocessor eras frequently used 7402 devices alongside other 7400-series TTL chips for game control, credit circuitry, video logic, timing, and related digital functions.
The exact semiconductor manufacturer installed by an arcade manufacturer could vary. This original ITT-branded 7402N should therefore be considered a period-correct vintage replacement where a compatible standard 7402 TTL device is specified rather than being represented as the original factory brand for every arcade machine.
Unused new old stock from legacy inventory. Packaging, age, and cosmetic condition may vary.
Pipeline quantities are informational and may change after arrival, inspection, sorting, testing, or donor teardown.

Compatible Radios / Boards
Suitable for vintage electronic equipment requiring a compatible standard 7402 quad 2-input NOR gate TTL device. The 7402 logic function is documented in classic arcade electronics and was also widely used in vintage computers, industrial controls, instrumentation, test equipment, and other digital systems. Buyer should verify supply voltage, pinout, TTL loading requirements, board location, and exact circuit compatibility before installation.
