HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: C0G ceramic capacitors have long been favored in circuits where capacitance stability is more important than obtaining the highest possible capacitance in a small package. Unlike general-purpose Class II ceramic dielectrics, C0G devices exhibit extremely low temperature drift and very little aging, making them useful in RF networks, oscillators, filters, timing circuits, instrumentation, and precision analog electronics.
