TDK C1608X7R1A225K080AC multilayer ceramic chip capacitor featuring 2.2uF capacitance, 10VDC rating, ±10% tolerance and X7R dielectric in the compact 0603 surface mount package. Designed for general purpose commercial electronics, bypassing, decoupling, filtering, power rail stabilization and other applications requiring relatively high capacitance in a small footprint. The X7R dielectric provides stable operation across a wide -55°C to +125°C temperature range. Manufactured in Japan and supplied from unused original packaged stock. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: TDK has been a major Japanese manufacturer of ceramic electronic components for decades and its C series multilayer ceramic capacitors became widely used throughout communications, industrial, consumer and computing equipment. Improvements in multilayer ceramic construction allowed capacitance values such as 2.2uF to be incorporated into compact 0603 packages that previously accommodated much smaller values. C1608X7R1A225K080AC remains an active production component and is not obsolete, making this original Japanese stock suitable for both equipment repair and current electronic designs.
