57 piece lot of genuine KYOCERA AVX 04025A820GAT2A multilayer ceramic chip capacitors. Each capacitor provides 82pF capacitance, 50VDC rating, C0G / NP0 dielectric and tight ±2% tolerance in the miniature 0402 / 1005 metric surface mount package.
C0G / NP0 dielectric capacitors offer excellent capacitance stability, very low dielectric losses and minimal change with temperature, voltage and time. These characteristics make the 04025A820GAT2A particularly useful in RF circuits, oscillators, resonant networks, filters, timing circuits, impedance matching networks and precision analog electronics.
This traditional AVX part number has transitioned into the newer KYOCERA AVX global part-number system. The corresponding newer global designation is KGM05ACG1H820GH. The original 04025A820GAT2A remains important for BOM matching, repair work and identification of existing equipment.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: AVX became a major manufacturer of multilayer ceramic capacitors used throughout communications, industrial, computing and RF electronics. C0G / NP0 capacitors have long been preferred where electrical stability is more important than achieving extremely high capacitance in a small package. As surface mount technology evolved, stable precision capacitance values such as 82pF became available in the extremely compact 0402 footprint. KYOCERA AVX later introduced a global part-number system while maintaining equivalent capacitor families for modern manufacturing and replacement applications.
