75-piece lot of genuine TDK C1608C0G1H821J080AA multilayer ceramic chip capacitors providing 820pF capacitance with ±5% tolerance and a 50VDC rating in the compact 0603 (1608 metric) surface-mount package. These capacitors use the highly stable C0G/NP0 dielectric with a temperature characteristic of approximately 0 ±30 ppm/°C, making them especially suitable for RF circuits, oscillators, filters, timing networks, impedance matching, tuned circuits, precision analog electronics, communications equipment, instrumentation, and other applications where capacitance stability is important. TDK specifies an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and minimum insulation resistance of 10,000 megohms. This exact part number is officially obsolete. TDK issued its discontinuation notice on May 11, 2023, with a last purchase order date of January 31, 2025 and final shipment date of March 31, 2025.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: C0G, also commonly known as NP0, became one of the preferred ceramic dielectric classes for RF and precision electronic circuits because its capacitance changes very little with temperature, applied voltage, or aging compared with higher-capacitance ceramic formulations such as X7R and Y5V. TDK's C1608 family brought these stable electrical characteristics into the widely adopted 0603 SMD footprint, allowing designers to replace larger leaded and early surface-mount capacitors in increasingly compact radios, communications equipment, test instruments, industrial controls, and precision analog designs. The 820pF value is commonly encountered in RF filtering, resonant networks, coupling, feedback, oscillator, and impedance-matching applications. With the C1608C0G1H821J080AA now discontinued, original stock is useful for legacy production support and exact-component repair work.
