extension before installation. The remaining physical condition is consistent with removed vintage components, including solder residue, heatsink compound, oxidation, scratches, and normal service wear. Because exact Cobra chassis information is not available, these parts should be installed only after comparing the device markings, pinout, circuit location, bias requirements, heatsink isolation, and schematic of the intended radio. Sold as the complete transistor and hardware group shown in the photographs.Original donor transistor set removed together from a working Taiwan-made Cobra CB radio and preserved as found for vintage radio repair and restoration. The set includes the NEC device marked C1306 K68B, International Rectifier IRF530N power MOSFET, Motorola device marked 720 / 9274, and the associated heatsink mounting screws, insulating bushings, spacers, and hardware shown in the photographs. The NEC 2SC1306 belongs to the generation of Japanese RF power transistors that became closely associated with 1970s and 1980s CB radio transmitter sections. The 2SC1306 was widely encountered as an RF driver in classic AM and SSB CB equipment, feeding the higher-power final stage and becoming a familiar service-bench part to radio technicians during the peak CB era. As original Japanese RF semiconductors became harder to source, genuine used pulls from operating radios became increasingly useful for restoration work because many modern substitutions require bias, gain, pinout, or circuit modifications. The IRF530N represents a later power-MOSFET approach frequently encountered in repaired, revised, or modified transmitter and power circuits, while the Motorola-marked device reflects the wide mix of semiconductor manufacturers found in long-service CB equipment. This particular group is valuable as a complete working-radio donor set because the devices and their original insulating and mounting hardware were removed together rather than assembled from unrelated loose parts. One transistor lead is broken or shortened and will require a small solder bridge, jumper, or lead

Compatible Radios / Boards

Intended for vintage Cobra CB radio repair, restoration, donor use, and technician bench stock where the same NEC 2SC1306, IRF530N, Motorola-marked device, or equivalent transmitter-stage components were originally used. May also be useful with related Taiwan-made CB chassis using compatible RF driver/final circuitry. Exact Cobra model and chassis are not confirmed. Buyer must verify device markings, pinout, bias requirements, circuit position, heatsink insulation, and schematic compatibility before installation.

RF Boneyard Bench Notes

Removed together from a working Taiwan-made Cobra CB radio. Radio was operating before donor disassembly. Devices have not been individually RF-output tested or curve-tracer characterized after removal. Visible markings include NEC C1306 K68B, International Rectifier IRF530N, and Motorola 720 / 9274. One transistor lead requires a solder bridge, jumper, or lead extension before installation.
