Original 10-piece package of C&K / ITT Industries Cannon 700201201 switch mounting hex nuts. These slim nickel-plated brass mounting nuts use a 1/4-40 UNS thread and measure approximately 0.062 inch (1.57 mm) thick. They were designed as panel-mount hardware for a number of C&K miniature and subminiature toggle and pushbutton switch families, including the 7000, 8020, 8060, 8500, 9000, T and TP series.

This lot remains in its original ITT Industries Cannon anti-static and non-corrosive packaging marked 700201201 and quantity 10.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: C&K has roots in electromechanical switch manufacturing dating back to 1928 and became one of the best-known names in miniature toggle, pushbutton and other precision switch designs. ITT Industries acquired C&K Components in 2000 and incorporated the business into its Cannon connectors and switches operation. Parts packaged during this period commonly carried the ITT Industries and Cannon branding visible on this original package. The switch operation was later divested and C&K again operated under its own name; C&K is now part of Littelfuse. This original ITT Industries Cannon packaging therefore represents an identifiable period in the history of the C&K switch product line and makes the lot especially appropriate for vintage electronics restoration, service stock and period-correct repair inventories.
