Lot of 80 KEMET C0603X105J4RACTU multilayer ceramic chip capacitors supplied in an original Mouser distributor-labeled packet. Each capacitor provides 1uF capacitance, a 16V DC rating, ±5% tolerance, and an X7R Class 2 ceramic dielectric.

These capacitors use the compact 0603-inch, 1608-metric surface-mount package and KEMET FT-CAP flexible-termination construction. The flexible termination helps redirect circuit-board bending stress away from the ceramic body, reducing the risk of flex cracking and subsequent insulation-resistance degradation or short-circuit failure.

Specifications include an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and approximate dimensions of 1.6mm × 0.8mm × 0.8mm. Suitable for power-supply filtering, bypassing, decoupling, communications equipment, industrial controls, test equipment, consumer electronics, prototyping, and component-level PCB repair. Lead-free and RoHS compliant.

Historical Note: KEMET developed its FT-CAP flexible-termination MLCC family to address board-flex cracking, one of the principal mechanical failure modes affecting conventional ceramic chip capacitors. This construction provides additional protection in assemblies exposed to handling, vibration, temperature cycling, or PCB bending.
