3.85µH RF Coil / Inductor on Plastic Form
$16.99
RF coil / inductor measuring approximately 3.85µH, wound with copper wire on a brown plastic / phenolic-style cylindrical form. Suitable for RF repair work, ham radio projects, CB radio service, vintage radio restoration, antenna matching experiments, RF filter work, oscillator circuits, tank circuits, donor-board replacement, and electronics bench stock.
This coil was bench checked for DCR continuity and measured for inductance using a DER EE DE-5000 LCR meter. The center form appears to be a plastic or phenolic-style coil form; exact material is not confirmed.
Historical Note:
Form-wound RF coils have long been used in communications equipment, receivers, transmitters, filters, oscillator stages, and antenna/matching circuits. A coil form helps maintain spacing and mechanical stability compared with loose air-wound coils, which can be useful in RF circuits where coil shape and turn spacing affect the final operating value.
Recovered from donor equipment for reuse in radio repair, restoration, or parts recovery work.
Pipeline quantities are informational and may change after arrival, inspection, sorting, testing, or donor teardown.
Compatible Radios / Boards
Suitable for RF repair, ham radio equipment service, CB radio repair, vintage radio restoration, antenna matching networks, RF filters, oscillator circuits, tank circuits, receiver/transmitter projects, experimental RF bench work, donor-board replacement, and general inductor stock where an approximately 3.85µH RF coil is required.
Buyer should confirm inductance value, physical size, lead spacing, wire gauge, current requirement, circuit position, and tuning requirements before installation. This coil was measured as a loose part and was not aligned or RF swept in a finished circuit.
