2.7µH Air-Core RF Coil / Inductor
$12.99
Air-core RF coil / inductor measuring approximately 2.7µH, suitable for RF repair work, ham radio projects, CB radio service, vintage radio restoration, antenna matching experiments, RF filter work, oscillator circuits, tank circuits, donor-board replacement, and electronics bench stock.
This is an open air-wound coil with heavy wire construction and through-hole style leads. The coil was bench checked for winding continuity and measured for inductance using a DER EE DE-5000 LCR meter.
Historical Note:
Air-core coils have long been used in RF circuits because they avoid ferrite/core saturation and can provide stable inductance in tuning, filtering, oscillator, matching, and RF tank applications. Coils like this are commonly found in communications equipment, CB radios, ham gear, vintage receivers, transmitters, antenna networks, and experimental RF bench projects.
Compatible Radios / Boards
Suitable for RF repair, ham radio equipment service, CB radio repair, vintage radio restoration, antenna matching networks, RF filters, oscillator circuits, tank circuits, receiver/transmitter projects, experimental RF bench work, donor-board replacement, and general inductor stock where an approximately 2.7µH air-core coil is required.
Buyer should confirm inductance value, physical size, lead spacing, current requirement, circuit position, and tuning requirements before installation. This coil was measured as a loose part and was not aligned or RF swept in a finished circuit.
