KEMET 2200pF C0603C222K5RAC 50v 10% Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors 95 PCS NOS
Full Description & History
Lot of 95 genuine KEMET C0603C222K5RAC 50v multilayer ceramic capacitors from original Mouser Electronics distributor-labeled stock.
These surface-mount capacitors have a nominal capacitance of 2200pF (2.2nF / 0.0022uF), rated voltage of 50VDC, ±10% tolerance, and X7R ceramic dielectric. They feature the standard 0603 (1608 metric) chip package, approximately 1.6mm long and 0.8mm wide.
The X7R dielectric provides operation over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, with capacitance variation of ±15% over the specified temperature range under its defined test conditions.
Suitable for bypass, decoupling, filtering, signal conditioning, and general surface-mount circuit repair where the original electrical and mechanical specifications match.
Original Mouser distributor number: 80-C0603C222K5RAC. RoHS compliant.
LIFECYCLE: ACTIVE
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
KEMET originated in 1919 through Union Carbide's manufacturing operations and developed into a major American supplier of electronic capacitors. Its products have served communications equipment, industrial electronics, consumer products, military systems, and electronic manufacturing.
Multilayer ceramic capacitor technology became increasingly important as electronic equipment transitioned toward smaller, densely populated printed circuit boards. By stacking alternating ceramic dielectric layers and conductive electrodes, manufacturers produced compact capacitors suitable for automated surface-mount assembly.
The KEMET C Series became widely used in electronic applications requiring dependable surface-mount ceramic capacitors. X7R dielectric formulations offer relatively stable capacitance over a broad operating temperature range, making them useful in general-purpose filtering, bypass, and decoupling applications.
In 2020, KEMET became part of Yageo Corporation, a global electronic components manufacturer. KEMET ceramic capacitor technologies continue to be used in contemporary electronic designs.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
KEMET traces its origins to 1919 and became a major American manufacturer of capacitors for industrial, communications, military, and consumer electronics applications.
Multilayer ceramic capacitors became widely used as electronic equipment became smaller and circuit boards more densely populated. Their construction combines alternating layers of ceramic dielectric and conductive electrodes to provide capacitance in compact packages.
KEMET developed extensive ceramic, tantalum, electrolytic, and film capacitor product lines. In 2020, KEMET became part of Yageo Corporation.
Unused new old stock from legacy inventory. Packaging, age, and cosmetic condition may vary.
