Intersil ICL7650CPD Vintage Chopper Stabilized Precision Op Amp DIP14
Full Description & History
Original Intersil ICL7650CPD precision CMOS chopper-stabilized operational amplifier in a 14-pin through-hole DIP package. Designed for low-offset, low-drift analog signal amplification in measurement, instrumentation, sensor-interface, and control circuits. Features approximately 2 MHz gain-bandwidth product and operates over a 4.5V to 16V total supply range.
LIFECYCLE: OBSOLETE
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
The ICL7650 family was developed for precision analog applications where conventional operational-amplifier offset voltage and temperature drift could introduce measurement errors. Its chopper-stabilized architecture uses automatic offset correction to maintain accuracy over time and changing operating conditions. Devices in this family were used in instrumentation, thermocouple and thermistor measurement circuits, strain-gauge amplifiers, and industrial electronic controls. This example carries an early 1980s production marking.
Legacy or discontinued stock no longer in normal production flow. Future supply may be limited.
Pipeline quantities are informational and may change after arrival, inspection, sorting, testing, or donor teardown.
